Terms of Use

1. Who we are

CrowdChoice is an app published by Tanguy Lecoutere, who can be reached at contact@crowdchoice.io.

By creating an account, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.

2. The service

CrowdChoice lets you post dilemmas (a question, two photos and two labels) and vote on other members’ dilemmas. Vote results are shown anonymously: nobody knows who voted for what.

The service is free. It may change, be interrupted for maintenance or shut down, without any right to compensation.

3. Minimum age

You must be at least 15 to use CrowdChoice. By signing up, you confirm you are.

4. Your account

You pick a username and you are responsible for what is posted from your account. Keep your password to yourself.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete my account: your dilemmas, votes, photos and profile are then permanently erased.

5. Forbidden content: zero tolerance

You may not post or write: nudity or sexual content; violence, gore or self-harm; harassment, insults, threats or mockery aimed at a person; hateful or discriminatory content; illegal content (drugs, weapons, counterfeits…); spam or advertising; a photo of someone without their consent, or any photo showing a minor inappropriately; content you don’t own and have no right to share.

These rules have no exceptions. Any breach may lead to removal of the content and closure of the account, without notice.

6. Moderation

Photos may be analyzed automatically when posted: a dilemma deemed offensive is not published.

Any member can report a dilemma or block another member from the “…” menu. A dilemma reported by three different people is hidden pending review. We review reports and remove content that breaks these rules, usually within 24 hours.

7. Your content

You remain the owner of your photos and texts. By posting them, you allow CrowdChoice to host, display, automatically translate and share them (share link) as part of the service, worldwide and for as long as your dilemma is online.

You guarantee you have the right to post this content, including the consent of the people who appear in your photos.

8. Liability

Votes reflect the community’s opinion, not professional advice: the decisions you make remain your responsibility.

We do our best to keep the service running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of outages or errors.

9. Changes and governing law

These terms may change; if there is a significant change, we will let you know in the app.

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
